One-north is a subzone of Queenstown, Singapore, developed as the country's research and development and high technology cluster. It was first conceptualised in 1991 and officially launched on 4 December 2001 by then Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan Keng Yam. The precinct is home to many research institutes, universities, and companies, including [[national-university-of-singapore|National University of Singapore]] and [[insead|INSEAD]].
